How does it work?

Our service for defending websites against DDoS attacks complements the Imperva’s Web Application Firewall that blocks hacking attempts and attacks of malicious bots.

By changing DNS records, all HTTP/S traffic to your domains is routed through Imperva’s network. As a result, the solution developed by Imperva acts as an intermediary that masks the IP address of your source server and continuously filters inbound traffic, blocking DDoS traffic and letting through traffic from legitimate sources.

High-throughput network

Imperva's global network is capable of on-demand cleaning of more than 6 terabits of traffic per second and is able to process 65 billion attack packets per second. Imperva's network has successfully defended its clients against the largest attacks in history.

Fast mitigation of the effects of attacks

Imperva's solution automatically blocks all DDoS attacks — usually in 1 second or less and does not need to notify us about the occurring attack. As part of the SLA we offer the industry's shortest 3-second mitigation time for all DDoS attacks regardless of their scale and duration.

Transparent protection against DDoS attacks

Legitimate users will never encounter latency, CAPTCHA codes or annoying loading screens.

IP address masking

Imperva prevents direct-to-IP DDoS attacks by concealing IP address of the source server. We suggest changing the source IP address after deployment for maximum effectiveness

Continuous traffic visibility

The dashboard notifies about inbound traffic in real time and allows for updating the security rules on an ongoing basis.
